See you in a thousand ayes...In the dark between the seats of a drunken theatre the caretaker slowly sweeps the residue of bright dreams; empty chocolate wrappers and barely heeded, crumpled programs. He takes one of the leaflets home to his blind wife so that she could hear his moving lips slowly reading out the play before sewing the wrappers into a patchwork curtain by tasting the flavours of what is left of the chocolate.See you in a thousand ayes...
Outside, here on his way home the sea is always playing
an impromptu symphony to a shifting audience on a shore studded with pebbles;
